::Intention::
Our experience tells us that we are inextricably part of the larger planetary system. Whether we like it or not – our actions affect that system and that system affects us. Establishing a simple and accessible global vision helps us align our personal aims with the aims of the larger system creating benefit at all levels

A universally established global vision provides a platform to direct our attention as a species on a scale that is both unprecedented and necessary. The Spiral Entrepreneur Revolution is about working to promote, develop and support that vision, bringing in voices, partners and opinions on the future from around the world.

::Platform::
Though there is most likely no one word, phrase or paragraph which will ever be universally accepted and agreed upon as the direction for all humanity, we can develop language that comes as close as possible.

Toward this end, we’ve selected Hardin Tibbs’ global vision statement as the starting point for our global vision.

In fifty years we hope to have a stable, peaceful, prosperous, diverse global civilization, which honours freedom of personal belief, and in which democratic political processes dominate, with a high level of universal education and health care, and a genuinely impartial and accessible system of justice, and in which both advanced and basic technology is applied in ways that are in balance with the natural environment, and produce an equitable distribution of social benefits. – Hardin Tibbs

To represent this vision we use the symbol of Purpose. In this case, our Global Purpose.

This basic vision establishes a desired future position. This enables us to aligning our personal, corporate and national actions with achieving this universally beneficial future.

::The Need & The Solution::
We’re becoming a global civilization, more interconnected, more interdependent, more unified. The problems and achievements of one nation affect every nation. The symbols of our unified humanity are everywhere; multinational corporations, shared economic systems, the homogenizing of languages, global warming, and a high speed global nervous system to name just a few.

The concerns of today are different than they were in the past. Today we need to address dissolving borders, the challenges of a global economy, the integration of rapid technological advance, the deterioration of education, overpopulation and shortage of resources, among others. In order to handle these issues the strategies of the past aren’t enough. We need new strategies and new models to ensure the comprehensive success of our species.

As we move forward into our future we need to organize the intentions of our global community in as easy and accessible a way as possible so we know where we’re going and how we’re getting there.

To do this we need a strong yet flexible global vision, endlessly refined and broadcast through our global nervous system. We need a vision that empowers everyone with the ability to input and participate in guiding our global development.

Through a unified global vision humanity gains the ability to harness the resources of its global mind guiding emerging trends and avoiding disastrous setbacks. A global vision helps keep us aligned with our global intent, bringing our awareness to the increasingly unified state of things and helping us know if we’re off or on track with the vision we’ve designed for our own best success.
